The aim was to improve the quality of images in industrial ultrasound tomography. The proposed architecture allows for better capturing of residual components, which translates into improved sharpness, accuracy and clarity of tomographic images. The results of experiments, conducted using a 16-transducer system, showed the advantage of the differential method over standard solutions, achieving higher PSNR and SSIM indices.    <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"556\" src=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/6-2-1024x556.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/6-2-1024x556.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/6-2-300x163.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/6-2-768x417.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/6-2-1536x833.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/6-2.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next publication, &#8220;Beyond labels &#8211; transformation of classification results into continuous conductivity maps in impedance tomography&#8221; (authors: Dariusz W\u00f3jcik, Dariusz Majerek, Tomasz Rymarczyk, Tomasz \u0141obodiuk, Micha\u0142 Oleszek, Krzysztof Kr\u00f3l), presented a hybrid model based on the U-Net architecture with MobileNetV2 blocks. This model is used to reconstruct continuous conductivity maps based on classification. It integrates regression with classification, transforming class probabilities into conductivity values \u200b\u200bby applying appropriate weights. This approach enables effective reconstruction of conductivity maps without the need to perform reference measurements, which is crucial in industrial and biomedical applications.    <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"532\" src=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7-2-1024x532.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7-2-1024x532.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7-2-300x156.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7-2-768x399.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7-2-1536x799.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7-2.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third article, &#8220;Three-dimensional acoustic beam defectoscope in industrial applications&#8221; (authors: Micha\u0142 Go\u0142\u0105bek, Barbara Stefaniak, Dariusz W\u00f3jcik, Tomasz Rymarczyk), described a modern diagnostic system developed by the team. It uses beamforming technology, which enables precise detection of defects in industrial structures. The device supports three-dimensional reconstruction of detected anomalies, offering high resolution and better visualization quality than solutions available on the market. In the conducted tests, the new technology showed a significant advantage in parameters such as MSE, PSNR and SSIM, which confirms its effectiveness in industrial applications.    <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" src=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/8-2-1024x575.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/8-2-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/8-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/8-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/8-2-1536x863.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/8-2.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fourth paper, &#8220;Optimization of radio-tomography using edge computing: low-latency approach to human presence detection&#8221; (authors: Micha\u0142 Maj, Tomasz Rymarczyk, Micha\u0142 Sty\u0142a, Tomasz Cieplak, Damian Pliszczuk, Jakub Pizo\u0144), presented an innovative solution combining radio-tomography data and RGB image. This data is processed directly on edge devices such as Jetson Nano and Raspberry Pi. The system achieved significant reduction of latency (up to 120 ms) and power consumption (5.5 W), while improving detection accuracy (94.2%). This paper opens new possibilities for implementing energy-efficient and privacy-friendly solutions for human presence monitoring in smart buildings and security systems.    <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/9-2-1024x585.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2419\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/9-2-1024x585.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/9-2-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/9-2-768x439.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/9-2-1536x877.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/nx365.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/9-2.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last of the presented works is &#8220;Application of LSTM network with multi-frequency measurement sequences in impedance tomography for moisture detection in buildings&#8221; (authors: Grzegorz K\u0142osowski, Tomasz Rymarczyk, Monika Kulisz, Micha\u0142 Oleszek, Konrad Niderla). It presents an innovative algorithm using multi-frequency measurement sequences processed by LSTM network to improve the quality of moisture imaging in building walls. Studies have shown that this approach significantly improves the resolution and accuracy of images in comparison to single-frequency methods.
